GENERAL: Fleas live in animal hair, rats' nests, sand, dog
pillows and blankets, in furnishings, carpets, and under houses. Flea eggs fall from
the host on floors, in cracks, under carpets edges, etc. Fleas are not only an
uncomfortable nuisance, but ingested fleas can cause worms in your pet as well as various

by the thousands. When animals are absent, they attach themselves to upholstery,
carpeting, clothing and man. Fleas and ticks can be destroyed with the appropriate insecticide. Professional pest control is the most effective in conjunction with treatment of pests by a veterinarian. Special attention must be paid to areas where pets spend most of their time, i.e. sleeping and play areas. For effective control, pets must be flea dipped at the same time treatment is made.
